History
Darkstripe was well-known in the Warriors series for his hatred towards kittypets and Firestar in general. His connection with Tigerclaw immediately set him to be against kittypets and Firestar. Tigerclaw used Darkstripe and Longtail to spread rumors about Ravenpaw, so, that if the truth ever got out about Tigerclaw and the battle of Sunningrocks, he would look like a fool. When Tigerclaw gets exiled from ThunderClan, he asks Darkstripe if he'd join him. Suprisingly, Darkstripe declines his offer, although the reason seems to be because Tigerclaw didn't let him in on his plans.
When Tigerclaw becomes ShadowClan leader, Darkstripe seems to be excited, and is often seen sneaking off. One day, after Tigerstar asked him to bring his kits to him (Bramblepaw and Tawnypaw), Fireheart follows him, and orders that the kits are taken back to ThunderClan.
When Firestar becomes Clan leader, he tells Brackenfur to keep an eye on the dark Warrior. Something about his behavior is telling him he's up to no good. One day, after Darkstripe was sneaking off, Sorrelkit followed. When he arrived back at camp, seeing the kit and knowing she had followed him, he attempted to feed her deathberries in order to kill her. However, Graystripe caught him and attacked him. The Clan is not sure, but doesn't trust Darkstripe at the moment. After Sorrelkit barely recovers from the poisoning, she tells the Clan Darkstripe did in fact feed her the deathberries in order to kill her. Darkstripe is exiled from ThunderClan.
Darkstripe is later seen as a ShadowClan Warrior, and attacks Stonefur by the orders of Tigerstar because he is half-Clan. However, Darkstripe is unable to kill Stonefur by himself, and needs Blackfoot to help finish him off.
After Tigerstar is killed, Darkstripe is seen in the BloodClan battle, trying to kill Firestar. However, Graystripe kills him in battle.
