What is the Warrior Cats series?

Warriors is a popular book series by Erin Hunter about groups of feral cats, known as the Warrior Cats, who live in the wild and fight to survive. They live in four Clans, known as ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, & ShadowClan. The Warrior Cats are first featured in the book Into the Wild, where a house cat named Rusty meets the Clans, and must make an important decision: whether to continue his life as a "kittypet," as the Clan cats call house cats, or to join the ranks of the Warrior Cats.
